Red Kidney Beans

The kidney bean otherwise called 'the chili bean' with its dark red skin is named for its visual resemblance to a kidney. Red kidney beans are an integral part of the cuisine in northern region of India. The commercial production of beans is well-distributed worldwide with countries in Asia, Africa, Europe, Oceania, South and North America all among the top bean growers. Brazil and India are the largest producers of dry beans.
